Governs your right to install and use SQL Query Masker, including the free Desktop app and the paid Pro edition.
This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between Front Rowe Studios LLC, an Arizona limited liability company ("Front Rowe Studios," "we," "us"), and you, the individual or organization installing or using SQL Query Masker ("you"). By installing, activating, or using the software, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use it.
Free edition (Desktop). We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free license to install and use the SQL Query Masker Desktop application, at no charge, for as long as we make it available.
Pro edition (SSMS and VS Code). On payment of the applicable fee, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the SQL Server Management Studio integration and Visual Studio Code extension on up to 2 devices per license, for your own internal use or the internal use of the organization that purchased it.
You may not, and may not permit anyone else to:
Front Rowe Studios LLC and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the software, including all copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights. This Agreement licenses your use of the software; it does not sell you the software or any rights beyond what this Agreement states.
A Pro license entitles you to updates and new releases within the SQL Query Masker v1.x product line at no additional charge. We may offer a future major version as a separate paid upgrade rather than a free update; if we do, your existing license continues to work with the version you purchased.
Pro features require activating a license key once. Activation validates the key and issues a signed license file stored on your device; the software then checks that file locally rather than contacting a server on every use, and re-validates the key occasionally (about weekly, with a 30-day offline allowance). Activating and using SQL Query Masker never transmits the SQL, schema, identifiers, or mappings you mask or unmask to us or to any third party — see the Privacy Policy below for exactly what limited data activation does involve.
This license is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you materially breach this Agreement and do not cure the breach within a reasonable time after notice. On termination of a Pro license, you must stop using the Pro features; you may continue using the Free Desktop edition.
The software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Front Rowe Studios LLC's total liability arising out of or relating to this Agreement will not exceed the amount you paid for the license giving rise to the claim, and Front Rowe Studios LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

SQL Query Masker is built local-first. This policy explains the genuinely small amount of data that involves.
Masking and unmasking SQL happens entirely on your own device. This policy exists to be specific about the little that isn't purely local: purchasing a license, activating it, and basic website operation.
We do not collect, transmit, receive, or store the SQL queries, schema names, table or column identifiers, or reversible mappings you mask or unmask. That processing happens entirely on your machine. It is never sent to us or to any third party, by design — not "by policy we chose not to look," but because the software has no code path that would send it anywhere.
Purchase information. If you buy SQL Query Masker Pro, LemonSqueezy processes the transaction as our merchant of record and collects your name, email, and payment details directly. We receive your email address, order confirmation, and license status — never your full card or payment details.
License activation. Activating a Pro license sends your license key and a device label (your computer name and operating system) to LemonSqueezy, which hosts our license service, to verify the key and issue a signed license file kept on your device. Afterwards the software checks that file locally on each use and quietly re-validates the key with LemonSqueezy about once a week; if you are offline it keeps working for up to 30 days. LemonSqueezy records the activation — license key, device label, and timestamps — so we can enforce per-license device limits and process refunds or revocations. None of this includes any SQL or schema data.
The website. As of this policy's date, sqlquerymasker.com uses no cookies, no third-party analytics, and no third-party fonts or scripts (all fonts are served from the site itself). Like any web host, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages. We also keep a simple daily total of how many times each downloadable installer is fetched; that total contains no IP address, browser details, or any other information about who downloaded it. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.
Support email. If you email us, we keep that correspondence to respond to you and to improve the product.
To deliver the license you purchased, provide support when you ask for it, and meet our own legal and accounting obligations (including those LemonSqueezy requires of sellers using its platform).
Purchase and activation data is shared only with LemonSqueezy (payment processing and tax remittance) and the ordinary service providers that keep the business running, such as email delivery. We do not sell personal information, and we have nothing resembling an ad business to sell it into.
We keep license and purchase records for as long as needed to support your license and to meet legal and accounting retention requirements.
You can ask us for a copy of, a correction to, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you — name, email, order and license history — by emailing hello@sqlquerymasker.com. Deleting that data will deactivate any associated Pro license, since we'd no longer be able to verify it belongs to you.
SQL Query Masker is a professional developer tool, not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

SQL Query Masker Desktop is free. SQL Query Masker Pro unlocks the SQL Server Management Studio integration and Visual Studio Code extension for $29, a one-time purchase per license — not a subscription — currently permitting activation on up to 2 devices. Full license terms are in the End User License Agreement above.
All purchases are processed by LemonSqueezy, acting as merchant of record. LemonSqueezy calculates, collects, and remits any sales tax or VAT that applies to your purchase; your receipt comes from LemonSqueezy, not directly from us.
Your license key is generated and emailed to the address used at checkout automatically, immediately after payment completes.
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from your purchase date, no questions asked. To request one, reply to your LemonSqueezy receipt or email hello@sqlquerymasker.com. Once a refund is processed, the associated license key is deactivated.
We may change the price for future purchases at any time. A price change never affects a license you've already purchased.
A chargeback or payment dispute results in immediate deactivation of the associated license key while the dispute is resolved.
Purchasing a license doesn't grant any right to redistribute, resell, or share license keys. See the End User License Agreement above for the full terms governing use of the software itself.
